01.
Challenge

Companies across industries are competing to get noticed online. That’s why digital marketing professionals are in demand and the need to retain talent is high on the agenda for many HR professionals. Employee experience (EX) has become a must for companies wanting to attract and retain key talent. That’s why according to wtw’s 2021 Employee Experience Survey, 92 percent of organizations are prioritizing EX enhancements over the next three years compared to just 52 percent pre-pandemic to increase employee engagement, drive productivity and create a happier workforce. Instead of something to be feared, frame automation as a process to embrace.

As the need for digital marketers continues to grow (just see what CMOs are saying in our report), companies need to offer people more to stay. It’s no longer about unlimited holidays or bonuses.

02.
Solution & Result

Now that we’re up to speed with the benefits, we’re going to look at a variety of marketing automation platforms. These pieces of marketing automation software are designed to drive insight and efficiency, leading to progressively better promotional outcomes in the process.

  • Know your audience
  • Set the tone (and stick to it!)
  • Focus on customer experience
  • Remain relevant
  • Get your team on board
  • Make use of A/B testing

Training and open communication are vital to the successful implementation of automated processes. Instead of something to be feared, frame automation as a process to embrace.

Trends are transient, but if you embrace them at the right time, it can get you noticed by prospective customers. That’s why digital marketing professionals are in demand and the need to retain talent is high on the agenda for many HR. Be tactful in your approach; you don’t have to spin every trend, just the ones that are relevant to your brand. Don’t get stuck in a content rut!
