"She once struggled with timidity and imposter syndrome.”
Today, Eloho Efemuai is helping women everywhere find their voice.
Eloho wears many hats. She’s a singer, songwriter, broadcaster, coach and strategist, but at the heart of it all is one mission, which is to help people step into visibility with confidence and clarity.
She is the founder of Heartsong Live, Scotland’s first Christian radio station led by a woman of colour. Every weekday morning on her flagship show Arise with Eloho, she speaks words of hope that reach far beyond the studio. The station has become a lifeline and a gathering place for faith, music, and encouragement.
Eloho’s gift for music has carried her across borders. She has released two albums and leads Engage Worship Night, where she brings people together to encounter the power of music and praise. And when the world went quiet during lockdown, she found another way to speak, through words on a page. Her book You Are Not Everyone’s Cup of Tea became an international bestseller, helping readers rebuild confidence, self-worth, and faith in their unique calling.
Eloho’s story, however, is more about people than just platforms. Through Evolve with Eloho, she coaches women, creatives, and entrepreneurs to amplify their voices and build personal brands that get them seen, heard, and paid. Her own journey of pushing through self-doubt has become the roadmap she now offers to others.
Her social impact reaches further still. As the founder of The Adelphe Connect Hub, she creates safe spaces for ethnic minority women in Fife, Edinburgh, and West Lothian. Whether they are navigating entrepreneurship, menopause, caregiving, or career change, Eloho ensures they have the tools, coaching, and mentoring they need to thrive.
Her life is deeply anchored in family. Married to UJ Efemuai, with whom she raises three children, Nathan, Aimee, and Josh, Eloho embodies the balance of devotion to both calling and kin.
At her core, Eloho is a builder of platforms, of confidence, of legacy. She shines a light that others can follow, and in doing so, reminds women everywhere that their influence is not something to hide.
Eloho's mission is simple yet profound. To help women shine their light, elevate their influence, and leave a legacy that inspires generations.
