Edward Enejoh grew up with a deep awareness of legacy and responsibility.
Edward comes from the Igala Kingdom in North Central Nigeria, a lineage known for leadership, service, and resilience. Those values showed up in how he thought, how he planned, and how he imagined his future.
Edward’s journey began in science, studying Physics at the Federal University of Technology, Minna. At the time, Physics made sense because it was structured, logical and respected. Even then, curiosity was pulling him forward. He was interested not just in how systems worked, but in how people moved through them and that curiosity would become the thread that tied his life together.
After many years of working as a management consultant for governments, private companies and international donor funded projects, He transitioned into digital and technology focused work and built skills that matched where the world was heading and where he wanted to contribute.
Today, Edward works as a project manager and business analyst at a leading UK university, delivering complex digital initiatives that support learning, innovation, and institutional change. Inside those spaces, he is known not just for delivery, but for advocacy. He is also an Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion champion, pushing for access, representation, and inclusive leadership to be more than words on a policy page.
Alongside his professional role, Edward is also a Doctorate in Business Administration candidate, researching how artificial intelligence can enhance project delivery. His work is a mix of strategy, technology, and people, which makes him keep asking one central question, how do we make systems work better for those inside them?
This question led him to found Marketlyhub.
Marketlyhub began as a small initiative and has now grown into a trusted, technology powered community supporting career switchers, migrants, and underrepresented professionals navigating project management, business analysis, and digital careers. Over the past decade, Edward has trained professionals directly and reached more than ten thousand people through workshops, webinars, and leadership sessions. For many, Marketlyhub has been a bridge, helping people move from uncertainty to clarity and from potential to possibility.
Edward’s impact has not gone unnoticed. He is a recipient of the Nelson Mandela Excellence in Leadership Award from the West African Youth Council, recognising his contribution to youth empowerment and leadership development. He has received recognition for his EdTech work and has been named one of Favikon’s Top 200 Project Management Creators on LinkedIn across English speaking countries. He also serves as an ambassador with Black Professionals UK, continuing his commitment to community building.
Yet, when Edward speaks about success, he returns to belief.
He believes that if you can behold a vision and become the person who embodies it, your life begins to move differently. Opportunities, he says, are everywhere. Access is activated by growth.
Through his work, his storytelling, and his mentorship, Edward Enejoh is helping people to grow, reposition and step into rooms they once watched from the outside.
Edward is building quietly, leading intentionally, and expanding what is possible for Black professionals in Scotland and beyond.
This is Edward’s Black Scottish story, and it is still unfolding.
